“Mixed language groups can be tricky. Gets worse when you are only English speaking couple in a group of Russian speakers. The guide begins to discount your presence, maybe subconsciously. Vardiza, though a mediaeval marvel, requires extreme physical effort to get in and get out. My wife could not make it. This should have been mentioned upfront at the time of the booking.”

“The trip was amazing, the sights were beautiful and our guide Giorgi was fantastic. One thing to notice, this tour is from Kutaisi so if you are from Tbilisi you will get shuttled to the meeting point. Sadly, the driver was an hour late to pick me up and because of that only saw the first stop for a couple of minutes. But that didn't make the trip very worth while. But if you are going to visit Kutaisi anyway you might be better to take the tour from there.”

“The tour operator was stingy enough to book a vehicle which could just legally fit everyone with two people having to share the 1.5 seats on the front row, which made the car very packed and the experience very uncomfortable. Also, this tour is more suitable for people who could understand Russian. The explanations made in Russian were much more detailed than those made in English.”
